I've made some changes to the front page sorting so it's sorting articles in accordance with the "heat" they've gathered from being viewed by site visitors. That's generally what "Hot Content" means when used in reference to articles/profiles/notes on this site.
You can still view the most gross viewership on the front under the heading "Highest Grossing Hits" but that is a disproportionate representation as it doesn't reflect the viewership decay over time. Think like the dissipation of heat from a heated compound which, unless constantly warmed, gradually cools.
